Alex Gallardo
Illustrator and Painter
Alex Gallardo has been artist going back to his days in Fashion Institute of Technology when he studied under the wing of such noted professors like Barbara Hanlon,. George Rizzo and Chrisopher Spollen. He also has a Degree in Graphic and Fine Arts with the institution and briefky studied with Borough of Manhattan Community College.He has also done graphic illustrations with Medgar Evers College and with Anton Miles as a student assistant for Danish Artist Hanne Lauridsen. Also studied in the Art Students League under the guidance of Wendy Shalen, Robert Cenedella, Oldrich Teply, Ken McIndoe and to name a few. He has done two painting student exhibtions with the Art Students League with Ken McIndoe's class and Wendy Shalen.
Summer Rose Gallardo, Illustrator and Painter
Summer Rose Gallardo is a graduate with honors at La Guardia Community College and recently she is studying with the best artists at the famed Art Students League. During her time at the League she has studied with the likes of Wendy Shalen, Mary Beth McKenzie, Robert Cenedella and most recently with Michael Grimaldi. She also did two exhibtions with the Student Contours at the League's Phyllis Harriman Gallery. She is very proficent in Oil and watercolors studies as well as in Oil Painting. She hopes to make it in the art community with a graphic novels she has planned as well as exhibitions in the Exhibition Outreach Program.She also has worked in collaborations with her uncle Alex Gallardo in portraits of each other and still lifes in the future.
